THE BEER SUMMIT 2011 is shaping up to be a pretty darn good event. It will be held March 6-7, 2011 in Miami Beach at the at the Fontainebleau Hotel Even if we didn't have great speakers, the hotel and the setting and the two beer-tails receptions and the lunch would make it worth the price of admission. But, hey, we're throwing in some great speakers for free.
The Beer Summit has grown to be the must-attend executive conference in the beer industry. At least that's what I'm told. Our attendance expands a little bit each year, and we get a slightly bigger room. But I think we're capped out now at 500, since any bigger than that and you go from a meeting room to a full-fledged ballroom, and you risk keeping it intimate. We've sold out every year and we expect to sell out again, as presales for the event were higher than ever. We expect a good crowd of top brewery executives, importers, distributors, and analysts this year in sunny Miami. So far our lineup of speakers includes:
-Peter H. Coors, chairman of Molson Coors. Back by popular demand (Pete spoke at our ought-five Summit in Chicago), Pete returns to the stage to give his perspectives at the top of one of the world's largest brewing groups.
-A panel of top craft brewers including legendary Kim Jordan of New Belgium and Ken Grossman of Sierra Nevada, plus one or two more brewers tba, to talk about craft's surprising yet explosive growth, and what challenges and opportunities this growing segment faces.
-A Wall Street meets The City analyst round table with Kaumil Gajrawala of UBS, Trevor Stirling of Bernstein, and Chris Pitcher of Redburn to give us a global perspective on our top brewers.
-The three founders of Four Loko: Jaisen Freeman, Jeff Wright, and Chris Hunter, to tell us about the explosive growth of the hottest brand in the malt beverage universe.
-And more to come.
Seating is limited, so to register either call Jennifer at 210-805-8006 ext 1, or click here to register online: https://www.beernet.com/register.php?id=8
